Objective
To explore how generative AI can rapidly create bespoke thematic worlds for brand and workshop environments, using Jungian archetypes as the strategic foundation and mixing them with unexpected visual themes. This project aimed to test how far GenAI could push creative ideation, character development and immersive storytelling for use in sessions, pitches and concept development.
Game of Bones was a playful yet strategic experiment in fusing Carl Jung’s 12 archetypes with dog breed personalities and placing them inside a dark fantasy universe. The result was a fully formed concept world expressed through visuals, characters and a short-form trailer.

Archetypes reimagined.
Using Perplexity AI, I mapped dog breeds to Jung’s 12 archetypes, interpreting temperament, behaviours and symbolic associations to create personality aligned character foundations. This served as a structured starting point that grounded the creative experimentation in strategic brand thinking, mirroring how I often use archetypes in identity and narrative workshops.
With these mapped archetypes, I crafted tailored prompts for Midjourney to generate the first wave of concept art. The aim was to maintain archetypal clarity while pushing style, mood and visual language through intentional prompt engineering. This stage tested how AI could support rapid, high fidelity ideation when themes need to be fresh, unexpected and engaging.

World building experiment.
Once the character base was established, I stretched the concept further by placing the dog archetypes inside a dark fantasy world. This created a narrative tension that helped me explore how GenAI can merge unrelated motifs to produce entirely new creative spaces, perfect for energising workshops or inspiring new strategic directions.
The final stage involved turning the concept world into a short TV trailer style asset. Using multiple AI tools for motion, sound, voice and SFX, I produced a cohesive cinematic piece that demonstrated how quickly GenAI can move from static images to fully realised audiovisual storytelling. Editing and compositing in post completed the experience.
